As far in advance as possible, some Perth wedding reception venues will only have one wedding per day. Popular wedding venues can book out 6 months to a year or more in advance.

What is the typical payment plan for a wedding reception?

Typically Perth wedding reception venues will require a deposit to secure your date which might be as low as 20% or as high as 100%. Most venues will expect the entire bill to be paid in advance of your wedding, with the exception of incidental charges like if the reception goes for longer than planned, or more food or drink are consumed. Be sure to ask about the venue’s refund policy in case of cancellation or postponement.

Who pays for a wedding reception?

Traditionally the Bride’s family paid for the wedding reception – venue, food and drink – today however, most couple’s pay for the reception. Their parents and guests may contribute to the cost.
