Overview

Music is an essential part of any important occasion and there is no occasion as important as your wedding ceremony.

If you like the idea of including some live music as part of the wedding ceremony, then consider what Shimmer has to offer. Shimmer are a polished and elegant acoustic trio, with a wide range of light easy listening material, which creates that perfect ambience that you and your guests are sure to appreciate, as they gather to wait for that all important arrival of the bride to be. With unique acoustic arrangements of popular music from artists such as The Beatles, John Mayer, Jack Johnson and U2, Shimmer offer a great alternative to jazz or string sections that are common at many ceremonies.

Before the big day, Shimmer will discuss and help select what songs you would like to play during the initial period before formal proceedings and at any other key points during the ceremony, such as arrival of the bridal party, the announcing of man and wife, the signing of the marriage certificate, or any other part of the proceedings. You may also like Shimmer to perform at the ceremony conclusion, as the new bride, groom and guests leave the church / ceremony venue.

As well as playing live music, Shimmer will also look after any CD music that you may like included, such as any special songs you may wish to have faded in at key points of the ceremony.

You will also notice that Shimmer also cater for other parts of the day, such as pre-dinner drinks and wedding receptions. For the reception, Shimmer also offer a more up-tempo range of music, including performing as a sequenced trio, with a more dance orientated selection of songs.
