Congratulations on your engagement!
Having a celebrant allows you to choose a
beautiful heritage listed building, a sunset lit beach one of Perth’s
many beautiful parks or gardens or the comfort of your own home. It
enables you to truly express the people you are and plan to be, by
designing a ceremony completely unique to you.
Your wedding ceremony can be designed to honour your history, your
family and the future. It is your first memory as a married couple so
choosing the right elements to reflect who you are is quite significant.
The use of traditional and alternative rituals and formats ensure a
meaningful and relevant ceremony. Consider including a hand fasting
ceremony, the infinity knot, releasing doves, lighting a unity candle or
being combined inseparably in a sand pouring ceremony?
There are many other symbols you may consider using to enhance the
rituals or meaning of your ceremony. Call me and we can go through some
elements that may be significant to you and your family.
About your Celebrant
Authorised by the Attorney Generals office in 2005 I am trained and
able to officiate at Weddings anywhere in Australia’s land, sea or air
space.
Ongoing education requirements keep me up to date and enable me to
ensure my work is of a high standard. A love of writing and an
enthusiasm for creating fresh and unique ceremonies mean I am open to
all your ideas and needs. And look to create a brilliant day with you.
I encourage a non obligatory first meeting, coffee at my place or
yours, to make sure you are comfortable and happy with your choice of
celebrant.
For my fee I provide;
- The completion and lodgement of your necessary documents.
- Provision of readings and examples of vows etc. to aid in
creating the ceremony;
- A non obligatory first meeting at which if you decide to proceed
we can complete the Notice of Intent to Marry form and establish
your chosen style and a rough idea of content for the day;
- The design and creation of your ceremony including ongoing
meetings and communications to perfect arrangements;
- A rehearsal or run through at my office (on site rehearsal is
available for an additional fee);
- Transportation time and costs within the metro and immediate
area;
- Solemnization of actual ceremony;
- PA system if required;
- Signing table and linen if needed;
- Presentation certificate and a booklet copy of ceremony.
- And I provide the readings and vows on decorative cards for
aesthetics and ease of reading.
